Swap roles and let the reader choose what to read next
Le grimoire Bavard is a proposal for a new literary publication model. A model where the reader would come himself to look for the books he wants to see published through extracts that appear in a seasonal newspaper. by associating a literary register with different editions of the newspaper, it would be possible to precisely target the category of the reader. This edition is part of the fantastic register.
Each edition of the newspaper is duotoned, the one I present is blue and black. I wanted to break with the usual codes of fantasy, by offering a contemporary rendering that is cleaner and less loaded. Duotoned illustrations of primed authors also illustrate the newspaper, and give each story its personal touch.
